Mashed potatoes

Ingredients:

1. one kg potatoes, peeled and quartered.
2. 4 cloves garlic, chopped.
3. 140ml milk or cream.
4. 25gms bread crumbs.
5. 25gms cheese grated.
6. Butter for frying.

Method:

Boil potatoes in a large pan. Drain and keep aside. Melt butter in a pan and cook the garlic till it becomes soft. Pour milk or cream in the pan. Add the potatoes to it. Mix well and mash it nicely. Sprinkle bread crumbs and cheese on top. Bake in oven at 180 degree celsius for about 15mins.


Tuna and potato bake

Ingredients:

1. 750gms baby potatoes, peeled and halved.
2. 280 ml cream.
3. Chopped spring onions.
4. Juice of 1 lime.
5. Pinch of chilli powder or chilli flakes, to taste.
6. 150gms grated cheese.
7. 1 tin tuna drained.

Method:

Boil potatoes till tender and drain it. Mix lime juice and cream. Toss together potatoes, spring onions, sour cream, chilli powder or flakes and 100gms of grated cheese. Add flaked tuna. Sprinkle 50gms of cheese on the top. Bake in a moderate oven for ten minutes till golden and bubbly.
